Rosa's vintage wardrobe #5: 1950s dresses

A while ago I bought Rosa some real 1950s dresses from Rockstreet vintage, an etsy shop that's regularly updated with the most amazing vintage children's clothes (though normally they mainly sell adult sizes). I purchased the dresses below for Rosa, and though most of them are still a bit too big for her (and more summer-style), as you can see she actually wears them!

I'm a bit hesitant to buy vintage dresses in sizes larger than a size 3 or 4 for Rosa, who knows by then she has turned into a tomboy who only wants to wear baggy trousers, or one of those little princess girls who only want to wear pink stuff... But it was hard to control myself with dresses in size 6 or 7 like the ones on the images below! (that unfortunately by now have all sold out, by the way...)

Oh Nina, ik denk niet dat ik je blog nog langer kan volgen! Nu ik weet dat mini-mensje een meisje is, word ik totaal week van die GEWELDIGE jurkjes. Is mijn bankrekening niet blij mee. ;)

Wat een geweldige kleedjes. Maar hoe dol ik ook ben op pofmouwtjes en Mary Janes, met zes jaar was het definitief gebeurd met onze dochter. Skinny jeans en liefst ook nog Uggs, maar er zijn tenslotte grenzen ;-)

dit is echt eye candy! Wat een mooie jurkjes, als het aankomt op mooie vintage jurkjes voor meisjes ben ik bang dat ik in een totale 'I live vicariously through you' situatie zit!

OOOOH Damn, leuk hoor! En geniet ervan, want idd als ze 6 en ouder zijn is het over met de pret. Loeki droeg tot vorig jaar alles heel vrolijk en gek, Hema enzo sterren, strepen en kleurtjes maar zelfs dat is nu over. Nu vraagt ze of roze haar haar leuk zou staan. (er is nog hoop!) Nogmaals De jurkjes zijn echt geweldig! Ik zou ze wel gewoon willen kopen om zo op te hangen en er alleen maar naar te kijken!
