I could do this all day
One of the things that I like best of running an online shop is the product photography. It's so much fun to try and find nice and creative ways to show your new products, and often I get so inspired that I can't stop once the product pictures are done... So everything in the house that catches my eye gets a little 'product picture' as well!
Yes, I could keep doing this all day... But holy moly, the friday is my only work day without having a baby around, and there are so many things that I wish I could put into that one lousy day. So I've already been having way too much fun (and  particularly for way too long) with these pictures...
I must say it sometimes stresses me out quite a bit, having so many plans for that one day a week and then seeing the time slipping through my fingers so fast. Ever realized how short a work day effectively is? Oh, time to work... It's a luxury my friends, don't you ever forget about that! ;)

oh yes. i have 2 mornings a week and i run around like crazy trying to fit everything in. impossible. product shots are not my favourite thing to do, so time consuming. although i recently borrowed a tripod which made it a lot easier. you have the perfect house for beautiful product shots, so many nice things around. x

Did you eventually finish the things you planned to do? Otherwise there will be time for you between 9 and 3 tonight.. I love those hours!

@ Carly: Not at all! I had to pick my daughter up from daycare earlier than expected, because they thought she was ill (which miraculously disappeared once she was home with me again...). So my work day ended at 3 o' clock instead of 5 o' clock... :(
And yes, usually I like those late work hours too, but not when you have a baby that still wakes you up a fes times a night and very early in the morning too!

I've only just opened my etsy shop, and the product shots were causing me grief. I have only one morning a week to do everything, although most evenings I am working. But evenings aren't the best time to photograph. I love the use of tape in your shots and oh so many beautiful items to stage the picture. I adore the wall colour... what paint is it? lou x

I too love thinking about all the props for my product shots but I get frustrated that there isn't more light in our home. Your pictures look very light and fresh. For 5 years now I have been trying to cram a full weeks work in to half the time-I never realised how easy I had it before!
