Have a look!

There's always room for a new addiction
Yesterday I had a very informative but also productive day at my screenprinting course, and I learnt more about screenprinting on fabric. Oh, another addictive thing! Sometimes it's hard to control my enthusiasm cause there are so many possibilities and only a limited amount of time and energy (and money... on days like these I'm happy to spend a fortune on all kinds of screenprinting supplies like ink in all the colors of the world, rolls of white cotton and packs of beautiful art paper... Then I really have to tell myself to calm down!)
Yesterday I printed a lot of pieces of cloth, with the intention to turn them into teatowels, but I saw lots of other possibilities as well. But for those I guess I first have to improve my sewing skills... Oh, there's always more to learn!

These are good! I can sew, but I can't screenprint. Maybe time to try that one out...

Lovely! I can't wait to see how you use your newly printed fabrics. My vote is definitely for some tea towels. I've been looking for some new ones, but haven't found any that I love. But I have a feeling I'll love yours!

I love the designs!  I think it would be fantastic as a series of coordinating prints and make a quilt of some type out of the fabrics!

I thought about taking up screen printing, but I don't have the time, patience or skill for it!  I take my hat off at your amazing talent!

so hard to control this kind of excitement!
your designs would be excellent on fabric. maybe you could team up with someone who loves to sew :)

PLEASE please make tea towels to sell. (Maybe if you charge enough it can finance your other fun things!)

Just beautiful!  I am so with you on wishing I could spend endless amounts of money on art supplies! xoxo

I felt the same excitement when I started screenprinting last year... Actually, it made me take a very important decision: I moved to Barcelona and I started a textile printing full time course :-)

About Ninainvorm

I'm Nina, ceramics designer, art/ craft/ design lover and mom of Rosa and Julie. This blog is about the things I make (you can find my online shop here) and the things I love (design, art, craft, interior, fashion, photography). You may have noticed a special emphasis on my two beautiful girls and everything children's design related!

There used to be a second blog on children's clothing, Coolkidsclothes, but it's currently sort of asleep and all the images have vanished temporarily, but I hope to revitalize it real soon.

Meanwhile, lovely children's clothing will be an important part of this blog here as well.

Want to get in touch? You can always send me an email through ik_ben_nina@hotmail.com.
